摘要 陶行知健身思想是他生活教育理论的有机组成部分。他倡扬健身的目的,是为了造成健全的公民和 健康的民族。运动锻炼、养护、卫生预防、营养及休息是其健身的主要内容与手段。陶行知健身思想具有对象 的普遍性、作用的基础性、实施的可行性、思想的开放性等基本特征。

Abstract Tao Xingzhi's thinking on physical fitness is anorganic part of his life-education theory.He advocated thatthe aim of physical fitness was to foster healthy citizens and robust na tionalities.Physical exercises,health maintenance,epidemic prevention,nutrition and rest are the
main contentsand means of his thinking on physical fitness.Tao's thinkingon physical fitness is
characterized by its universality ofthe objects,functional fundamentality,operational feasibili tyand thinking liberality.
